Just imagine, you're in a cave looking for treasure, and you see a glint of two gloving eyes, and then a row of pointed teeth appear and spook the shit out of you. And then this little shadow goblin leaps at you and, completely not focused on beating you up, just starts eating your gemstones. Because what's important in "value" is just food to it.
Also I just like its potential move sets. Not especially strong, but has some tricks up its sleeve.
