>>30746509Since I post Maple pretty much every time in these threads, here's someone relatively new, and probably a lot closer to the kind of "trainer" I'd be.
Jane, a lazy ass who has to be forced to go out whether into the wild or public. She knows some of the theoretical stuff about battles, especially since she owns a Ditto and is often given the chance to look at all kinds of movesets he copies, even when not in combat, but doesn't actually have any combat experience. The Ditto, Forge, was her only partner from early childhood till her current age of 22 years.
At this point she's been booted from her home, albeit on a paid trip to the Sileda region from her parents, promising to make something of herself on an island full of strong wild Pokemon and competition-heavy atmosphere. She's since caught a Froakie, a Trevenant, and a Murkrow during quests, but a party full of tougher individuals definitely helped her not lose her shit throughout. Though she's yet to spread her social wings, she's already gained some human friends through the few experiences she's had so far. She lives in a somewhat dingy apartment in Citadel, but would like to make a Secret Base like some of her friends at some point, if she ever learns how. She likes to wear comfy things and be an annoying fujoshit.
Because of all the time they've been together, Jane also has a unique trick she can perform with her Ditto, but I'll get to that in another post.
