And I was. Brawly was super easy. Dustox then became my Flash slave in order to get to Steven, and I caught a Lax Thick Fat Makuhita along the way. I don't see Dustox doing much else from this point on, so she's been boxed. After yet more grinding, I moved on and took to the seas some more and arrived in Slateport.
Also I have a Tentacool and Magikarp in the PC as well. I hope Route 110 gives me an Electric type, even if it's Plusle - Electric in Hoenn is a godsend. Wattson is a very scary prospect, even with Makuhita - lowered Special Defense is really bad. The Hariyama line is one of those lines that always dies on me as well.
