I think the Pokemon were great, but the region and story were bland. Nothing about Kalos stands out to me. Team Flare is probably the worst team, and Lysandre had the personality of cardboard compared to SOME of the villains from past generations. It had fantastic music though, except for the gym leader theme, which was just alright. Not as good as Unova or especially Sinnoh.
That said, it was still a good game. Generation six is probably in the middle for me when it comes to Pokemon games rankings.
