>>55201386>the bit about TMsShe doesn't consider TMs an extension of the League's handholding of Trainers. Especially since TMs likely come down from Silph/Devon rather than the League itself. And even then a TM only imprints the barest essential, fundamental knowledge of a move onto a Pokemon and you still have to properly train it into being part of their ensemble and to make super effective use of it in a battle.
>why doesn't she just charge for Move Tutoring? She does. But having 2 side sources of money is better than just 1. There isn't always a tourney or something going on to make money off of and not every tourney is going to allow her brutish, unrelenting ass into it. Especially now that she came in at a firm second place in the "Selda Championship". She's no longer considered applicable for AMATEUR tourneys anymore.
>the Luxury Ball thingThe Luxury Balls are maybe the only non-stingy thing she buys and even then she bought 12 and has not bought more of them since, cause 12 was the highest amount of active Pokemon she'd ever have since she would need to make ANOTHER alternative Silph Co account to register 6 more Pokeballs to in order to keep them all with her rather than in a PC. So it's not like she's ever buying more Luxury Balls anyway.
>>55201497She sees the Pokemon League as a bunch of folly coddling tools who raise up babied trainers who aren't as strong as they'd like to think they are. She despises the League for constantly hand-holding it's Trainers by putting them on a "safe and regulated" path "with no true adversity or challenges". She hates the League entirely on principle cause she feels it's just a form of homogeny and a bottle necking of a Trainer's potential. Like some kind of system that wants people staying within the confines of it's expectations and treating something outside of it's scope and control as problematic and needing it's potential controlled to "maintain order". And she wants to stomp it into the dirt.
