The lack of postgame features is disappointing, but you'd have to be either a troll or a nimrod to delude yourself into thinking the lack of an RNG battle facility that is only open AFTER investing 30+ hours into the game somehow makes the entire game bad.
Overall it's probably the best 3DS Pokemon game. It's not an interactive movie like Gen 7 but it does characters much better than XY.
