This first appeared as a thread on 2CH. There's also a picture of a full color plastic bag, which minimum orders for those things are at least $100. Who would want to spend that much to fool people into thinking a children's game has a new pokemon? Someone would be willing to spend a couple bucks at kinkos so they can get a magazine fake printed on glossy paper (we've seen it before,) but not $100.
This is entirely different than the crap we get here with bad Japanese grammar. The new Drowsee pre evo fake more or less reads "The Belching of Gas" instead of "Burping" like the person tried to google translate.
It's also not a DeviantAutist, their source is quickly found with a google image search. Somebody tried to post a "Boy" Eeveeloution because they hated sylveon so much and the first link was their DevianTART page.
This is also different from the Japanese Jynx fake that was made. Someone on 2CH posted a creation thread and they went through the whole process of faking and posted progress here:
http://www.logsoku.com/r/news4vip/1364217765/ including posting twitter images of people who thought it was true.
These pictures are plausible because we've knocked out two of the main sources of fakes. Even 2ch has posters that will say "FAKE" and post the reasons why. Notice that I haven't said confirmed. Just plausible. Until he pops out on Pokemon Sunday or gets some other announcement (like in corocoro) before or on April 20th (when tickets go on sale with a Mewthree bag full of goodies) they cannot be confirmed. So, for a change the fan sites are posting it. The people on Serebii, Pokejungle, and Bulbapedia have been around the scene much longer than 4chan has even existed. Some 15 year old deviantAutist thinking he's going to pull one over on the scene is mistaking. They don't even look here for scans.
