>>53494483I'm not sure how the level cap rule is applied for E4/champion, so I just applied Iris's 59 level cap for entering the E4 because the actual E4 level cap is only 58 anyway.
Here are the champions! So many deaths in a single day. Lars the Zoroark disguised as Aubergine the Crobat swept Shauntal and Caitlin with 2 Nasty Plots. His illusion never even broke. I knew Marshal would be tough, and his Conkeldurr managed to take down Aubergine from 80%. I foolishly went for Acrobatics when I should have Roosted. He might have been able to survive Stone Edge from full HP.
That left Iris, a 5v6. Milk Tea the Mienshao was the MVP here. Although a bit slow, she was able to recover to full HP with Drain Punch against Hydreigon and OHKO in the process. She took down Druddigon, Aggron, and Lapras too. I was definitely risking a crit against Druddigon and Hydreigon, but luck was on her side.
I had no answers to Archeops, unfortunately. It outsped everything on my team and hit way too hard for a safe switch. Sesame used his Rocky Helmet to bravely take two Acrobatics. He didn't survive, but in return was able to put Archeops into Defeatist range. Mond could have easily revenge-killed at this point, but I forgot to give him Aqua Jet and needed him to quickly take down Haxorus. Couldn't risk Milk Tea either. Or Lars because I focus sashed him as a last resort against Haxorus. Mimi the Umbreon had to come in and unfortunately take an Endeavor down to red health before she Foul Played Archeops to death. Haxorus came in next and finished her off.
Mimi's death was hard. She was one of longest surviving mons of the run, and a true MVP for her insane bulk. She really deserved to stand alongside the champs. Her death gave Mond a clean switch into Haxorus, where it went down with 2 Ice Beams. Milk Tea took care of Lapras.
This run ends bittersweet. :(
