Really though, this is the one series where him getting more than 6 again would have made sense and instead they just fed Pokemon to Goh meaninglessly.
I don't even get why Goh getting Pokemon meant that Ash couldn't get a stage since Goh caught a bunch of Pokemon Ash owns.
