Take, for instance, the newest episode. We see glimpses of each of Blue's battles, but we cut to the next battle right at the climax of each.
This could work in a longer-form episode where the narrative is Rising Tension leading up to the fight with Red which is the Real Fight. But it just cuts us off and it's not satisfying.
It's like Pokemon Blue Balls. All the build-up with none of the release or pay-off. Hopefully future episodes are better.
