>>58048212Because they are making 100+ pokemon every generation, they should have options that cater to everyone. Coolmons, cutemons, boymons, girlmons, big monsters that you could ride around, little speedy guys, weird off the wall unexpected designs, etc. There's no reason not to make pokemon that appeal to everyone's needs. Since a party is always made up of 6 pokemon, I believe most people also want to have different kinds of pokemon in their party, and not just in regards to their types, but in their types of appeal as well. That's part of the fun of having a coolmon, a shouldermon, a flying mon, an aquatic adventuremon, etc.
