Some species rather have a mega evolution than a further evolution if you take in mind their designs and logical deductions.
I sure would love the humanoid psychic pair Jynx and Mr.Mime have evos but look at them, compared to Magmar and Electabuzz they are both more detailed and designed to close their evo family, only a mega would help those.
And some feel like they have missed one stage evolution between them like Baltoy and Claydol for me.
A mon that would enjoy an evo would be Corsola, beside being a gimmick mon like Luvdisc it does also have a logical opportunity of a congregate evo being a coral.
Solrock and Lunatone could have received something more too, didn't even receive a BST buff and beside being evolutionary stone farms they could have used those for their own evolution purpose too.
