>>51390259It's actually kind of insane how good XY was. It almost transcended being the Pokemon anime. Excellent animation, excellent character design, possibly the greatest human characterization (on which, to be fair, it competes with DP, but Serena is just on another level entirely as a character in this anime), absolutely kino villain arc, actual drama, and the best OST so far. Even the filler was kino.
The anime will never be this good again, but that's okay. Just be happy that it's happened. We'll always have XY.
