I've been in enough pro wrestling flamewars in the past to know this is an exercise in futility, but, it pretty much kills everyone else besides Ash and Paul to do the "can they coexist" storyline, answer it definitively with "no," and then have them beat everyone anyway. Now Chimchar is with Ash and Paul's really gotten over as a dickhead, and both of those things are good. Brock got buried into the sand, Dawn and (based) Conway got buried too. Two and a half seasons presumably until we get the Ash vs. Paul blow off, so hopefully they can keep it up that long.
