it has no consistent theme either and is just slapped onto random mons to fill a quota. there is no reason something like Zoroark shouldn't be fairy type when shit like Gardevoir, Ribombee, and Alcreamie is. unless Fairy type literally just means "pink and cute", but nobody wants to admit that.
