I thought he looked alright when he was all glowy eyed and obscured either in the pod or at nighttime, but he looked awkward as fuck in the last part of the movie, and i'm not talking only about the mouth thing. He overall lacked texture and almost looked unfinished compared to other models which looked spectacularly lifelike, like Snubbull and Pikachu. Even Greninja, that shares a similar body type, looked way better. I assumed they'd try a bit harder with Mewtwo considering how plot important he was.
