I however disagree on this, nihilism is freeing in a sense because the denial of inherent meaning is vital to the discovery of new, internal meaning. My recognition of the Vaporeon as a fake ideal has not lessened my appreciation of it, and likewise my understanding of the world around me as meaningless, accepting the reality that no matter what path humanity takes it will all eventually be left as dust has in fact strengthened my resolve to see the world change or die trying.
