Psychic is an awesome type, and I hate that he had to abandon his Duosion and Gothorita; he must be pretty trapped until Opal steps down or dies. Notice too that three of his five Pokemon towards the end of the game are Psychic type first and Fairy second, and his Mawile and Sylveon are so high level that they're clearly borrowed instead of trained by him. His loyalties don't lie with Fairy. He needs to change the Ballonlea gym over to Psychic and kick Avery's ass as soon as possible. Sadly, all those hopes remain fanfic for now.
