Just. Write. Something. I beg you. Take one core idea and follow through with it, and then you can mess around as much as you want.
It doesn't even need to be good, it doesn't need to be connected to anything else. It just needs to be something--anything at all--that you can anchor yourself to before you try to expand your horizons.
