Thought these two were straight Psychic for the longest time. I know Lorelei used one, but I thought it was a gimmick for each E4 to break the trend of the Pokemon they used because they were supposed to be harder than Gym Leaders. Bruno had those Onix. Agatha had Arbok and Golbat. Lance and Gyarados.
The funny thing is, I was half-right. I was right in that Lorelei had a non-Ice Pokemon. I just thought it was Jynx instead of Slowbro. By the time I saw a Slowpoke for the time, I already had a full team and just blasted it with something that did neutral damage. Never even knew its type when I was a kid.
