So, there is a general trend of the final boss Pokemon being an iconic Pokemon who is also maybe hard to take down. Personally I think Gens 1, 2, 3 and 4 did it the best. It was before things like power creep and big regional pokedexes set in, meaning the player may not be as prepared for the fights. I also don't know what Geeta's deal is.
