Now if you want REAL conjecture, here are my thoughts on her name.
Default names for male protagonist (Red/Green) and rival (Green/Red)
>Red/Green (color)>Satoshi/Shigeru (significant person involved with Game Freak during the development of the games)>Jack/John (simple English name beginning with J)Female character was first shown on the back of the Nintendo guidebook for Red and Green in April 1996, before Blue was even announced, so I don't know if "Blue" is an appropriate name for her since she was thought up before that game. However, she is shown standing next to a starter (colored red, green, and blue) like the male protagonist and rival, so Blue might be fair game.
So how about
