Look at this scene in particular, in our version Rose doesn't remember Bede with no explanation, while the original text makes it alot clearer that the reason Rose didn't recognize him was because it had been years since he last saw him. Stuff like that is scattered all through the script, it feels like whoever did the english text was trying to make the text as lean and direct as possible to the point where some character beats just disappear.
