If a Pokemon looks masculine, I always try to catch a male version. Same with feminime Pokemon. If they are neutral, however, I will get whatever fills in the male-female ratio to get evenly 50-50.

I heard about its supposed infamouscy, so I checked it out to see what was so bad about it and instead found out that most of the community is quite friendly and some of the threads (like this one) are actually quite interesting. Plus it's Pokemon related, so that kinda helps.
