>>56947738>>56947808I'd also like to say I don't even dislike energies in the main deck, it just has a bit of a different feel to it, and no it doesn't feel good to be forced to pass since you can't do shit because of the inherent increase in randomness that having energies in the main deck causes.
There is so much more that goes into a game and the long term health of it than just making things more consistent and faster, though it should be handled with care.
I also will say I don't like how Hearthstone does things since there is no cost to getting energy every turn, same for pocket, but again in Force you usually WANT your Ruler card out in the field, but you also want energy every turn, so it can be fun deciding when the best time to flip your ruler and put them in the field was, since doing so sacrificed your per-turn energy, and of course if you chose to get more energy then you can't put your ruler into the field.
A bit more off-topic than before yeah but I'm not going to have another opportunity to really talk about this game, and I liked how it did the energy deck that I haven't really seen other games do, since if they do then there is no cost to it and just like Hearthstone Shadowverse which is lamer and also isn't an actual deck either and just something that builds each turn regardless of player agency.
>>56947828It's a shame I had a nice local scene for a while but it both became too overly meta and future sets were less interesting with the new game mechanics and characters art what have you, also the people around me dying out so being left with basically nothing.
Touching the cards now and comparing it to pokemon and yeah the pokemon cards and yugioh for that matter feel very paper and flimsy, but the FoW cards have this nice thickness and silky texture on the back. And yes I love the art.
