Can you still complete the pokedex if starting from a newer game?
I haven't played a single pokemon game since soul silver. When I was young, I had a ton of pokemon from special events at gamestop, the pokemon center, transfers from n64, gamecube, and the like. One day during sophomore or junior year, this wave of melancholy came over me and i deleted my SS save data that had all my migrated pokemon on it. I then went to sell it at a gamestop for probably $15 or whatever.
Almost being 30, I have this desire to feel nostalgia again, and I want to pick up what I missed. That being said, I turned out to be a perfectionist and I would want to attempt to go for a complete pokedex. Legendaries I'd assume would be the most difficult part of this endeavor.
So, again, can I complete the Pokedex starting from scratch on a newer game post HG/SS? Any unique hurdles that I'd face? Any advice?
I miss pokemon.
