Here's one I've had a couple ideas for. An eccentric millionaire collector whose a dark-type gym leader, like a Giovanni remix but less mobster more cultured. His gym would be a mansion/gala/castle whatever, with the lower trainers being a butler/bodyguard, poacher looking thugs, and shifty black market dealer-types. The ideal mon I had in mind was the sly fur-coat mink we have, and maybe some criminal pokemons suggested. Being the refined collector that he is, the catch is that all of his pokemon are shinies.
On the left is a 1970's bachelor type, while the right is more eccentric flashy clothes type. Thoughts?
