Not only do both of its STABs get hardwalled by every Psychic-Type, it's also weak to them, and Gen 1 Fighting doesn't really sport any truly good moves for it to use.
Maybe it could fish for a few crits here and there with that 125 speed stat, but that may be about it, really.
