Mega Sceptile is weak to:
Ice x 4
Flying x 2
Bug x 2
Poison x 2
Fairy x 2
Dragon x 2
Not THAT many, but for a pokémon with low defenses it means a lot, also his ability is not that good, not because of the ability per se, but because in order to get a switch in so this guy gets the boost the opponent would already expect it since you'd have to mega evolve beforehand AND survive.
But if they buff up hi movepool, which I hope, it won't only be a fast as fuck rape machine, but have access to STAB dragon moves (Hope for draco meteor or some shit, but I guess that would be being too optimistic).
However, in a world full of priority moves, this means shit, UNLESS they give it some GOOD special priority moves.
The downside is that the Sub-sceptile(with either unburden or overgrow)+Swords dance+Berry to increase attack+Leaf blade and earthquake+ another mega in the team will be far more viable.
But it guess it isn't too bad when you consider that the weather is SHIT now and swift swim swampert would benefit just for a few turns, guess these guys were made for doubles.
Just statin' the obvious, I know, and I like Sceptile, he' my fave starter.
