Not much to say about him since everyone else says it. The Normal/Fly situation, works 3 or 4 jobs, and you get to see his input in the rematch. His gym challenge is easiest one of the best.

The game expected you to take his Art Class and do his bonding quest. This allows you to get more personal with the old Dragon Clanner, which make him proud of you when you beat him. He treated as one of the final bosses in the Ace Tournament, a position he deserve.
