This isn't fucking rocket science, players are aok qith being restricted during the main game, but post, having the ability to transfer mons up to current gens is one of those things that is sentimental to a lot of players, their every ribbon mons, shinies, that 1 pokemon you traded for with a friend as kids and remains a piece of them you can still enjoy. But I'll get the definitive edition next year. Enjoy the game, just not something i can support
