For example, games like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch portable mode usually runs at a resolution of around 500p, however, it can oftentimes drop to sub-400p in certain graphically taxing scenarios. Framerate and consistent frame pacing is another issue entirely. But it is one I am willing to tolerate if the game is turn-based in nature, especially if the internal rendering in portable mode coincides with the native res of the Switch's 6.2'' display (high pixel density is so utterly delicious, my nigga).
