i have a 13/13/12 shiny shadow metagross. he is my bro and one of my best buddy ribbon pokemon.

i am trying to grind it out at ace rank ML premier classic and shadow metagross isn't cutting it. it seems significantly weaker than regular metagross. i don't have any really good iv regular metagross to replace my shiny shadow metagross with... but...

if i purify the shadow metagross, i will have a level 40 (41 with best buddy ribbon boost) perfect iv metagross.

what the fuck do i do? will i be able to live with the shame of purifying? it knows MM in the second charged move slot, this will NOT be overwritten if i purify, right?

shadow swampert is a god in UL premier but they nerfed the encounter rates

purified sableye is fantastic in GL rn with trevenants running rampant. they also nerfed the encounter rates on those, too.
