Compare the attack animations and even the SPRITE animations from Crystal to those of the later games. They were much better. What the fuck happened?
Why can't they use the modern hardware to allow more sprites on-screen and expand the size of the game so that it has all the regions and lasts 1000 hours? It would be perfectly possible if they used the pleasant GBC engine. Yeah, it would sell like shit because normies like flashy soulless graphics and pokemon fans have shit taste, but they wouldn't really lose money since GBC graphics are dirt cheap to produce.
