There's a lot of improvements you could make, but it's a start.
You can get X Speed, Potion, Handscope, Red Card, and Pokedex from the tutorial (pic related).
You can buy a second copy of each from the shop using "shop tickets".
Cards to look out for in the future are a 2nd copy of Sandslash (any pack), 1 copy of Hitmonlee (Mewtwo pack), 1 copy of non-ex Marowak ex (Mewtwo pack), 2 copies of Giovanni (Mewtwo pack), and 2 copies of Sabrina (Charizard pack).
Hitmonlee can replace Hitmonchan and Handscope, Red Card, and Pokedex just filler to get you deck to 20 cards. You can replace them with any of the other cards I suggested.
