Of course, this wouldn't be an issue of GF took their time to carefully work on each pokemon and give them some sort of niche roll that makes them unique. However, this is GF, so they won't. This is why I like Smogon. They give other pokemon a chance to compete in different formats such as UU, RU, NU and even some other of their custom formats. Inverse Battles and the introduction of Triple and Rotation battles were good ideas, but it still doesn't compensate for the fact that a large group of pokemon just plain suck or they suck in comparison to other ones.
