Some of them though (like the one brought up in the shitcord post) are just completely impossible to see and you have to get into the mindset of "check behind every barrier"
This started with Demice in Urmumium trying to ape Metroidvania characteristics. I guess it's not as bad as some of the shit those games get up to and is mostly optional its just tiresome and doesn't really fit with the rest of the game or it's design
