Hatterene is the witch, the princess, and the tower at the same time, she's a self contained fairy tale! She incorporates a lot of inspirations into her design, and none of them are too flanderized. Gardevoir is a cleaner design and much more ambiguous. their horn is particularly striking and begs for speculation. One isn't really better then the other, they're just very different. I don't like mega gardevoir, I think it looks less elegant and ethereal, but that's just my taste. Gardevoir has a massive amount of fan speculation and content behind them, and I hope Hatterne gets the same treatment. On the other hand, I hope Hatterne does not get the same treatment as gardevoir in the pokedex with the same two entries being recycled over and over again.
