1. shape of the mouths and feet is similar to skarmory
2. the briar nest is described in skarmory's dex, which also explains that skarmory grows calloused from cuts as a chick
3. the beta sprite of skarmory has two tail feathers, which are maybe vestiges of the other chicks that died
4. doduo has two heads and is explained to have gained another one on evolution by the splitting of one head, so the chiks being a prevo doesn't really make sense
