Like I remember seeing some thread a few years ago about periods on /v/ and it was really weird seeing a bunch of dudes trying to tell a girl (I'm assuming she was a girl anyway) how her periods affect her personally. Some of those guys seemed pretty serious too, it was weird. I don't think I've ever seen a women tell a man "shut up, you don't know what prostate cancer is like, but I'm going to act as if I do" or something similar.
But yes, due to the fact that there are so many shitposters around there's a pretty small chance that you'll get a good discussion going on this site. Most of the time if you try and get something going it won't go anywhere and it'll just be a waste of time and effort.
