Got it from a friend who thought he broke it, and said if I could fix it I could have it. He just never installed an OS on it, it was a super easy fix.
But a clunker it remains. Even DSi's won't take this thing. I was under the impression that like, 3DSs wouldn't read this thing just as a matter of principle, no amount of tampering would get it to read right.

If I can't so much as use it to browse 4chan while I wait 30min for my shift to start, expecting it to survive any length of time running emulators sounds out of the question.
