I still find Pokémon GO fairly enjoyable, even though it's gotten to the point where shundos (and shinies in general) cause more pain than excitement, but the thought of being able to reconnect with people in a more expanded sense than the 3DS Streetpass system has always kept me with the game.
The recent changes to the game, and the overall decay in the community, however, is making me realize that the game might be on its way to the grave. Not only is the pokegf dream beyond dead, but I feel like even hanging out with people that play this game will come to an end soon. My local community only just got rebuilt, and we're already starting to fall apart because of the winter, along with people no longer being able to move past 2016 turf war politics. The problem is that this is the only game/thing I'm still remotely interested in; the modern economy has made me give up on all my job ambitions, and more of my favorite franchises have gone in directions I don't really care for.
Maybe Pikmin 4 will be of interest to me, but I doubt it considering my views on all of Nintendo's other Switch games.Seems like all the little things that kept me going have finally reached their expiration dates. I don't know how much longer I can keep going...
