What seems like a moral dilemma and a genuinely interesting talking point ends up just being treated as an elaborate way for Gamefreak/TPC to address the elephant in the room, telling us that is actually morally correct to catch Pokemon.
Legends Arceus took it even a step further by showing that humans catching Pokemon is a mandate handed down by the Pokemon god himself.
