It's a romhack that fixes everything about G/S/E, including the shitty level curve. The day and night system is there, so's the physical/special split, everything. I should mention that the area from Cianwood to Goldenrod has been completely redone, to the point where it's basically an ocean with islands and dungeons to explore.
Unfortunately, it's brought down by a bunch of shitty OC donut steels from the Pokecommunity forums. By the the time you get to the Orange Islands, the grinding becomes unbearable.
