I go back to Rayquaza, and he tells me that the reason the Legendaries have Guardians is so that, when the Legendaries are about to die, they can kill and then steal the bodies of their Guardians to be immortal. No wonder Nicolas ran for the hills when Angeallen started dying.
Rayquaza asks me to give him one more battle to remember, Perish Song, and he joins my party, netting me all four Dragons.
I go back to Chaomega, who tells me he almost decided to just kill everyone while I was busy with them, but will spare us all if I can do the simple task of fixing the timeline issues caused by Mmmmchu. He gives me my first McGuffin and now I have to collect them all.
