I think GF has always wanted to make a grass deer/ungulate starter. Especially during the age of DiaPer and BW. Pic related is a theory but I think it holds weight. I think they were supposed to be some ungulate based line, before splitting of into what they are today. Deerling probably came from this train of thought too. So I don't think a grass deer starter is really out of reach, especially a feminine one. And in todays starter design philosophy, I expect it to be bipedal as well.
There's nothing stopping them from revisiting the idea like they do with everything else.
