What made them think including Wailord in the game was a good idea? If they were cutting half the dex, why not cut the ONE Pokémon they have the most problems with in terms of scaling. This just makes me think they didn't put any effort at all into the selection.
You need to dynamax Wailord to get him close to his actual size and he still looks tiny since Pokemon don't scale appropriately when dynamaxed, they're all the same size. A dynamax Pikachu will be the same size as a dynamax Wailord.
