I'm not talking about PMD because it establishes itself as its own universe with its own rules. It starts getting bizarre when you put the same established characters (that are known to be wild animals for the most part) in a place that might as well just be our own. No need to get defensive about that aspect, it's not even something that bothers me that much. It's just something that a lot of 13 year old tier stories tend to do with very poor world-building.
