>New to these threads? I'm so, very sorry.I was so very afraid to say anything. I didn't want to break anyone's spirit, but unfortunately it's now or never.
The rumors are true. After today, I will be retiring from the MSP threads. With my looming
managerial promotion and
my strong desire to pursue my passion project, plus
my waning interest in Pokemon and the direction it's heading, I simply won't have the time, nor the will, to do anything further with the project.
These threads have both given a lot to me and taken a lot away from me. It's inspired me to become an artist of my own. It's also eaten up a lot of my free time, a black hole in my schedule, though it was free time well worth spent. A close friend of mine said I should have gotten paid for it. I think all the memories and enjoyment I had throughout each day is more than enough. Every thread had a story. Every thread gave a spotlight to Pokemon that would normally be overlooked otherwise. Every thread gave me a unique experience, some more drastic than others (MissingNo's buildup was the most fun I've ever had on 4chan). I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Thank you, to everyone, old and new, for a literal three years' worth of content and fun. I'd like to believe another will take up the mantle one day and pick up where we left off, or maybe even start anew (in which case, bless your soul you naive fool for you do not know what you're getting yourself into). I've seen the Halloween spinoff, so I know there is hope.
The MSP project isn't dead. It's just... sleeping. Waiting for a new owner to take it for a walk.
>Final Pokemon: Your Favorite Pokemon>Hard Mode: No References or FixesYou knew the drill. Pokemon was selected at random daily, you got in this topic, you drew a Pokemon in MS Paint (or similar program), and posted results. And for that, I am very grateful.
