The sad thing about the Decolore Island stuff is that none of the episodes individually are bad. Most of them are fine, if not good, with the Zorua one being great. Split them up over the course of the season and have either the Unova League (booked better) or Project N be your climax, and it would've been better. But 20-ish filler episodes stacked on top of each other n a row is brutal. Iris has been a non-entity since the arc began. I remember her calling out her Dragonite to help Charizard serach on the honey island, and her Excadril to bore through Team Rocket's boat. Cilan hasn't called out any of his Pokemon, but he at least got the Purrloin crime filler to himself.
Just now I finally realized explicitly that we're probably not getting anymore episodes with Burgundy, Bianca, or any of the fun characters either. What was the plan here?
